The the Belt and Road International Pig Industry Conference (BRIPIC), sponsored by Henan Agricultural University relying on the "the Belt and Road" International Pig Industry Science and Technology Innovation Institute, will be held in Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from April 25 to 27, 2024. The conference aims to promote the integrated development of pig technology and economy, as well as academic and practical exchanges and cooperation among young and middle-aged people, and to enhance the capabilities and status of China's pig industry technology system in the international community. Cooperate with the implementation of the national "the Belt and Road" initiative, deepen scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation with countries along the "the Belt and Road", and help promote the sustainable, healthy and sound development of the international pig industry.

Based on the experience of Henan Agricultural University in holding three consecutive sessions of the "the Belt and Road" Chinese Academy of Engineering International Engineering Science and Technology Strategy High end Forum and Yellow River Forum, the conference is dedicated to setting up the "the Belt and Road" Youth Innovation Practice Forum for international young experts and scholars, providing a sharing and exchange platform for young experts in the pig industry and scientific research, and providing overseas training and industrial horizontal research opportunities for award-winning young guests. The main meeting was opened with the theme of "the Belt and Road" international pig scientific and technological innovation to grasp the strategic position of pig industry development. We will conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics related to the epidemiology and health economics of the pig industry, which are closely related to industry pain points, and provide a platform for domestic and foreign experts to share cutting-edge scientific and practical research. The conference also innovatively opened special sessions in Denmark, France, the Netherlands, and North America, focusing on leading countries and regions in pig farming, bringing systematic knowledge and technology of the international leading pig system to the attendees.

Report collection of the "the Belt and Road" Youth Innovation Practice Forum

The Youth Innovation Practice Forum is a sharing and exchange platform specifically designed for young talents in the field of pig production and research. Its aim is to select outstanding reports from the pig production and research fields, promote two-way communication between production and research fields, promote practical progress in the pig industry, and continuously innovate in scientific research fields. Promote the spirit of "seeking truth and taking action", and guide young practitioners in the direction of striving for progress.

The forum speakers are young experts and scholars from upstream and downstream enterprises and scientific research institutes in the pig industry chain. The selection committee will select five production application reports and five production research reports from the report application. The winners will make oral reports (in Chinese) at the "the Belt and Road" Youth Innovation Practice Forum, each report will take 15 minutes. The report covers areas including but not limited to:

Selection method

The candidate shall provide a summary of the report, a PowerPoint presentation for the speech, and a resume in both Chinese and English. The abstract and courseware include: title, background, research objectives, materials and methods, results and analysis, as well as conclusions and applications. The report abstract is limited to one page of A4 paper and should be written in both Chinese and English.
