Prof. Zhang Longxian, PhD Supervisor, Second-level Professor, and Distinguished Professor of Henan Province (2012–2017). He serves as the Leader of the Veterinary Medicine Discipline.
Selected into the National Program for Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents, he has been honored as a "National Expert with Outstanding Contributions (Young and Middle-aged)" and enjoys the Special Government Allowance of the State Council. He is the Chief Scientist of a 14th Five-Year Plan Key Research and Development Program Project and has presided over over 30 research projects, including Key Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
He has published over 600 papers (280 in SCI journals) with an h-index of 54, an i10-index of 228, and 10,526 citations (Google Scholar). He has been listed as a Scopus National Highly Cited Researcher for 8 consecutive years.
