Prof. Angke Zhang, Associate Professor, currently serves in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Henan Agricultural University.
In recent years, he has presided over over 10 research projects, including the General Program and Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His primary research focuses on the pathogenic mechanisms of major swine diseases such as Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) and African Swine Fever (ASF), as well as the development of novel vaccines and antiviral drugs.
As the first or corresponding author, he has published over 20 research papers. He has been granted 5 authorized national invention patents. His notable awards include the Silver Award at the National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the title of "Outstanding Postdoctor in National Innovation and Entrepreneurship," and the "Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Shaanxi Province."
