Prof. Xiang Yuqiang, born in 1991, PhD, Professor, Master’s Supervisor, Young Top Talent in the Zhongyuan Science and Technology Innovation Program, and "Top Talent" of Henan Agricultural University.
His primary research focuses on the development and application of novel non-injectable vaccine adjuvants, nano-bioactive materials, and innovative technologies for animal disease prevention and control. By constructing new immunological rapid diagnostic techniques for animal diseases, as well as systems to enhance mucosal and systemic immunity, he aims to address key challenges such as low sensitivity in on-site rapid detection and inadequate immune efficiency of traditional vaccines, ultimately achieving the comprehensive prevention and control objectives of "mucosal defense-systemic immunity-regional purification."
In recent years, he has presided over 9 research projects, including the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, the Young Top Talent in Zhongyuan Science and Technology Innovation Program, the "Top Talent" Project of Henan Agricultural University, the Special Subsidy (During Station) of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and key scientific and technological projects of Henan Province.
He has published over 20 SCI papers in prestigious journals such as ACS Nano, Chemical Engineering Journal, Analytical Chemistry, ACS Sensors, and International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, and has applied for/obtained 14 Chinese invention patents and 6 software copyrights.
