Dr. Qiao Songlin, born in February 1970, PhD, Research Fellow, and PhD Supervisor. Currently serving as the Director of the Immunological Mechanisms Research Laboratory, he has been selected as a High-Level (Category C) Talent of Henan Province and appointed as the Chief Expert of the Henan Province Hog Industrial Technology System. He also holds concurrent positions as Executive Director of the Henan Pig Association, Executive Director of the Henan Veterinary Association, Council Member of the Henan Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society, and Vice President of the National Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation in Hog Industry.
His primary research focuses on the pathogenic mechanisms of swine diseases and rapid detection technologies. He has presided over 8 research projects, including the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Public Welfare Industry (Agriculture) Research Special Project, Henan Province Hog Industrial Technology System, and Key Scientific and Technological Special Project of Henan Province. Additionally, he has participated in 12 major national projects, including the Major Program and Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the "973" Program, and the Position Scientist Program of the National Hog Industrial Technology System.
As a key contributor, he has won 1 First Prize of Henan Provincial Natural Science Award, 2 First Prizes of Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, and 1 China Agricultural Science and Technology Achievement Award (Outstanding Innovation Team). He has been granted 14 invention patents, published over 140 research papers (including over 70 SCI papers), and compiled 4 monographs.
