Prof. Ruimin Qiao
Professor and Master’s Supervisor

Prof. Ruimin Qiao, Professor and Master’s Supervisor, primarily focuses on swine genetic breeding research. Her key areas include functional gene mining and molecular mechanisms of important economic traits in pigs, development and application of genomic selection breeding technology, as well as resource conservation, evaluation, and innovative utilization of local pig breeds (e.g., Yunan Black Pig).

 

She has presided over multiple research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program, and Henan Province Science and Technology Key Projects.

 

Prof. Qiao has published 10 research papers in domestic and international professional academic journals and holds 6 authorized national invention patents.
