Dr. Qiao Qilong, a doctoral candidate, is primarily engaged in research on new technologies for the prevention and control of viral diseases in livestock and poultry. This includes the establishment of reverse genetics systems for pathogens of major animal diseases, research on their pathogenic mechanisms, the construction of new multi-component and multi-valent vaccines using reverse genetics technology, and the screening of antiviral drugs. As a key participant, he has been involved in scientific research projects such as the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Youth Program of the Natural Science Foundation of Henan Province. He has published over 20 papers in domestic and international professional academic journals. His research achievements have resulted in 1 authorized national invention patent and 4 accepted national invention patents. He has successively received awards such as Outstanding Young Veterinary Talent from the China Agriculture and Rural Development Foundation, Third Prize in the CCB Cup Henan University Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the National Doctoral Scholarship.
