Prof. Li Yongtao, PhD Supervisor, and National Licensed Veterinarian, is a Visiting Scholar at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. His primary research focuses on Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS), Porcine Viral Diarrhea (PVD), including their pathogenesis, diagnosis, and new prevention and control technologies.
He has presided over over 10 scientific research projects, including General Program and Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published over 60 papers in domestic and international professional academic journals, including 15 papers as the first or corresponding author. He holds 6 national invention patents and has participated in obtaining 4 national new veterinary drug certificates.
His notable awards include the First Prize of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Achievements from the Henan Provincial Department of Education, and the DBN Science and Technology Award.
