Prof. Tong Fu , Ph.D., is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Henan Agricultural University, serving as the Executive Dean of the Henan Agricultural University-Muyuan Joint Industrial Research Institute and Deputy Dean of the College of Animal Science and Technology. His professional expertise focuses on cattle and sheep farming, as well as the processing and utilization of roughage.
Currently, he holds the positions of Director of the Smart Teaching and Research Laboratory for Animal Production in Henan's Undergraduate Universities, Deputy Director of the International Joint Laboratory for Livestock Nutrition Regulation and Ecological Farming in Henan Province, and Chief Expert for the Dairy Industry in Henan Province's Major Agricultural Technology Extension Service Pilot for Integrated Farming and Animal Husbandry.
He also serves as a Council Member of the Sheep and Goat Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Vice President of the Henan Cattle Industry Association, Deputy Secretary-General of the Henan Dairy Association, Council Member of the Feed and Forage Society of the Chinese Association of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine (Henan Branch), and an Expert of the Henan Genetic Resources Committee.
Over the years, he has presided over over 20 scientific research and extension projects, including major national Spark Science and Technology projects, major agricultural technology extension service pilot projects of the Ministry of Agriculture, Henan Provincial Financial Subsidy Projects for Agricultural Technology Extension, and the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Cooperation Program.
His achievements include 1 First Prize and 1 Third Prize of the National Award for Progress in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries; 1 Third Prize of the Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award; 1 Third Prize of the Henan Natural Science and Technology Award; 7 authorized invention and utility model patents; contributions to 7 academic monographs as a co-editor; and over 60 published papers. He has been honored with titles such as "National Outstanding Dairy Industry Worker," "Famous Trainer for New-type Professional Farmers in Henan Province," and "Outstanding Science and Technology Commissioner of Henan Province."
