Dr. Junchang He, holding a master’s degree in Preventive Veterinary Medicine from South China Agricultural University, began his career at a group pig farm, starting from frontline roles and working in various positions including production, management, and disease control. He led the establishment of the first batch of national-level pseudorabies disease-free pig farms and directed multiple disease elimination projects for PRRS-positive farms. By fully integrating theory with practice, he has developed extensive expertise in the prevention and control of major swine diseases such as PRRS and diarrhea.
