Prof. Zhanyong Wei is a high-level talent of Henan Province, an academic and technical leader of the Education Department of Henan province, and a technical innovative leader of the fourth batch of national "Ten Thousand Talents Program". He is a member of the 3rd National Animal Epidemic Prevention Expert Committee, an executive director of the Veterinary Public Health Branch of the Chinese Association of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, a member of the 6th Commission of Chinese Veterinary Pharmacopoeia, and the vice chairman and secretary general of the Henan Animal Immunology Association. He is currently the director of National International Joint Research Centre for Animal Immunology, the deputy director of Henan Key Laboratory for Animal Food Safety, and the director of Henan Synergistic Innovation Center for Modern Animal Husbandry
